Worksheet · Transformation Readiness Check
Run weekly reviews that look forward
It prints on A4 with room to write.
A review that reads out last month's status decides nothing. This sheet sets a weekly workstream review that looks ahead and a monthly executive review that decides. It builds the Competent step of the check:
Weekly workstream reviews ask what is late, broken or coming up next, and a monthly executive review makes decisions and records them.
Step 1. The weekly update (one page per workstream)
| Section | What goes in it |
|---|---|
| Done last week | |
| Late | What, by how long, and why |
| Broken | What is stuck, and who can fix it |
| Coming up next | The next two weeks' milestones |
| Red flags | Problems that need a decision above the workstream |
Amber means real slippage. A lead on leave is not amber.
Step 2. The monthly executive review
| Agenda item | Minutes | Output |
|---|---|---|
| Actions from last month | 10 | Each one closed or given a new date |
| Red flags from the weekly updates | 30 | A decision on each |
| Benefits against plan | 15 | Gaps named by initiative |
| One workstream in depth | 20 | Decisions its leader asked for |
Step 3. The decision log
| Date | Decision | Owner | Due | Done |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| e.g. 3 June | Move two analysts from pricing to supply for six weeks | CFO | 10 June | |
Done when: each workstream holds a weekly review on this agenda, and the monthly review's decisions sit in a log with owners and dates.
