Worksheet · Transformation Readiness Check
Run the review that finds the next tranche
This sheet is for a programme already running; the check asks this row only then. After the first wave, it looks for more and decides what the programme team runs next. It builds the Competent step of the check:
A structured review after the first wave has found the next tranche, and the programme team's people are staying in the business.
Step 1. The first-wave review
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| Which initiatives delivered more than planned, and why? | |
| Which delivered less, and why? | |
| Which levers did wave 1 leave untouched? | |
| Which wave 1 initiatives could go further? | |
| What did we assume that turned out wrong? |
Step 2. The next tranche
| Idea | Lever | Rough value ($m) | Owner | Brief due |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| e.g. Extend the new terms to export customers | price | 1.1 | Export manager | 15 September |
Step 3. The programme team's next roles
| Person | Role in wave 1 | Next role in the business | Starts | Leads part of wave 2? |
|---|---|---|---|---|
A business that stops at "enough is good enough" holds its new level while the market moves on.
Under 50 people: after the first wave, spend a day with the leaders finding the next set of gains. Decide now what the people who led the change will run next.
Done when: the review has listed a next tranche with owners, and each member of the programme team has a next role.
