Worksheet · Transformation Readiness Check
Count what has landed against the original plan
This sheet is for a programme already running; the check asks this row only then. It counts, initiative by initiative, what was sized, what has been booked and where it leaked. It builds the Competent step of the check:
Benefits are tracked against the original plan, leaks are named by initiative and cause (late, smaller, volatile), and re-plans are approved rather than assumed.
Step 1. Sized against booked
| Initiative | Size in the original plan ($m) | Booked to date ($m) | Tracked? | Evidence (report, ledger line) | Gap ($m) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| e.g. Freight recovery | 1.5 | 0.6 | No | Sales team estimate only | 0.9 |
| Total |
Some benefits happen with nobody tracking them. List them apart, and find the evidence before you count them.
Step 2. Name the leaks
| Initiative | Cause (late, smaller, volatile, not started) | Since when | Fix or replace | Decision owner | Re-plan approved on |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Step 3. The gap to the original plan
| Line | $m |
|---|---|
| Original plan to date | |
| Delivered to date | |
| Gap | |
| Replacements in the pipeline |
Keep the original plan as the reference. A re-based plan needs an approval and a written reason.
Done when: each initiative shows booked against the original plan, and each leak has a named cause and an approved decision.
