Worksheet · Transformation Readiness Check
Name the few behaviour shifts
A list of ten values changes nothing in routines or pay. This sheet names three to five shifts, writes the from and the to, and checks that leaders are seen doing them. It builds the Competent step of the check:
Three to five specific behaviour shifts are named, with the from and the to written down, and leaders are seen doing them.
Step 1. The shifts
| Shift | From (what people do today) | To (what they will do) | Where it shows (a meeting, a decision, a customer moment) |
|---|---|---|---|
| e.g. Decisions | Problems go to the GM and wait | Team leaders decide within their limit on the day | The daily stand-up |
| 1 | |||
| 2 | |||
| 3 | |||
| 4 | |||
| 5 |
Stop at five.
Step 2. What holds each shift in place
| Shift | Leader who models it, and where | Meeting or routine that needs it | Tool or system change | Link to review or pay |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Step 3. Are leaders seen doing them?
Each month, ask five people who report to each leader whether they saw the shift, and ask for an example.
| Leader | Shift | Month | Seen by how many of five | Example given |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Under 50 people: name the three shifts that matter most, with the from and the to. Within six months, ask staff whether the leaders are doing them.
Done when: three to five shifts are written as from and to, and staff can give recent examples of leaders doing them.
