Worksheet · B2C: Consumer Pricing Health Check
Write the cross-channel price rules
It prints on A4 with room to write.
Price gaps between site, app, store and marketplace build up for reasons nobody remembers. Customers find them. This sheet writes a rule for each product group, then checks every month for gaps nobody chose. It builds the Competent step of the check:
Cross-channel price rules are explicit (aligned, or deliberately different with a reason).
Step 1. The rules
| Product group | Site | App | Store | Marketplace | Rule (aligned, or different) | Reason, if different |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| e.g. Accessories | List | List | List | List plus 5% | Different on marketplace | Marketplace fees |
Step 2. The monthly check
Sample the same items across every channel on the same day.
| Month | Items sampled | Channels | Gaps found | Gaps a rule allows | Gaps nobody chose | Fixed by (date) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Step 3. The fine print
| Item | Same across channels? | If not, the reason |
|---|---|---|
| Delivery and service fees | ||
| Price-match rule | ||
| Returns terms | ||
| Member prices |
Done when: every product group has a written cross-channel price rule, and the monthly check finds and fixes the gaps nobody chose.
