Fix a monthly review of the objectives page
When the monthly meeting reads the financials, the objectives come up only if someone remembers them. This sheet sets a monthly review of the objectives page and a quarterly one, and puts the dates in the diary. It builds the Competent step of the check:
A standing monthly review looks at the objectives and their measures together on one page with the owners present, and a quarterly review asks whether the objectives still make sense.
Step 1. Terms of reference
| Item | Monthly review | Quarterly review |
|---|---|---|
| Purpose | Act on the objectives and their measures | Ask whether the objectives still make sense |
| Input | The objectives page with this month's measures | The same, with the assumptions behind each target |
| Who attends | The management team and every measure owner | The management team |
| Length | 90 minutes | Half a day |
| Output | Actions with an owner and a date | Each objective kept, changed or dropped |
Step 2. The front page
Show only the measures that moved outside their range, with the owner's comment.
| Measure | This month | Target | Moved by | Owner's comment |
